Production Plan Occupation

Production Plan Occupation is the read-only capacity view derived from the production quantities of one Supply Plan. It connects each production row to the resource and rate defined by its routing operation, making unconstrained and constrained capacity consumption comparable.

Path in the platform

Data > Data Operations > Planning Data > SNP - Supply Network Planning > Production Plan > Production Plan - Resource Occupation

Select the Supply Plan before downloading the file. The filter is required and manual import is not supported.

  1. In Supply Plan, select the plan to inspect. The image shows the tutorial plan.
  2. Click Download as with XLSX selected to download the resource occupation for that plan.

Grain and fields

One row represents one Supply Plan + production alternative + resource + planned date combination.

Field What it represents
Supply Plan Id Supply Plan that calculated the row.
Location Id Location where production is planned.
Output Material Id Material whose production consumes the resource.
Planned Date Planning period of the quantity and occupation.
Production Version Id Production alternative selected for the row, when present.
Routing Id Routing that provides the operation rate.
Bill of Materials Bill of materials selected for the production row.
Resource Id Productive resource being occupied.
Routing Cluster Enterprise routing dimension; it may be empty in Community.
Resource Capacity Unit of Measure Unit used to express resource capacity.
Resource Capacity Period Period associated with that capacity.
Unit of Measure Id Unit of the production quantities.
Unconstrained Planned Order Quantity Proposed production before constraints.
Unconstrained Firm Order Quantity Firm production before constraints.
Unconstrained Total Resource Consumption Resource consumption generated by unconstrained production.
Constrained Planned Order Quantity Proposed production after constraints.
Constrained Firm Order Quantity Firm production after constraints.
Constrained Total Resource Consumption Resource consumption generated by constrained production.
Default SNP Unit of Measure Common Supply Planning unit used for quantity comparison. In the tutorial, set TON in Global Parameters.
Unconstrained Planned Order Quantity in default SNP unit Unconstrained planned quantity converted to the default unit.
Unconstrained Firm Order Quantity in default SNP unit Unconstrained firm quantity converted to the default unit.
Constrained Planned Order Quantity in default SNP unit Constrained planned quantity converted to the default unit.
Constrained Firm Order Quantity in default SNP unit Constrained firm quantity converted to the default unit.
Set-up time (hours) Enterprise setup-time result; it may be empty in Community.
Set-up sequence for current period Enterprise setup sequence; it may be empty in Community.

Compare Unconstrained Total Resource Consumption with its constrained counterpart to see how the plan changed after capacity and other restrictions. Use Resource Id, its capacity UOM, and its period to reconcile the result with the routing operation and resource availability.
