Planning Bucket Size

Used by the frequency field in the Demand Planning Execution Profile and by incidence-period fields in Production costs and Logistics and location costs.

Defaults are defined by the field that uses the enumeration:

  • Demand Planning profile: Monthly;
  • production resource fixed cost: Monthly;
  • production resource run cost: Hourly;
  • location fixed and storage costs: Monthly.

Second One bucket per second Very-high-frequency sequencing
Minute One bucket per minute Intraday scheduling
10 minutes One bucket every ten minutes Intraday capacity
Quarter-Hourly One bucket every fifteen minutes High-frequency services
Half-Hourly One bucket every thirty minutes Intraday planning

Daily, Weekly, and Monthly are the most common Demand Planning values.
