Configured View Aggregation Type

aggregationType determines how an attached characteristic participates in an Enterprise Supply Planning view. The field is required for every material or location characteristic attachment.

Payload value Meaning Example
Group by Characteristic Uses the characteristic as a grouping dimension Group materials by product family
Do Not Show Characteristic Keeps the characteristic out of the visible grouping Use a characteristic only as a filter reference

The maintenance screen may initialize a row as Do Not Show Characteristic, but an imported characteristic attachment must still provide the field explicitly.
