Characteristic Type¶
The characteristicType field determines which value format is accepted for a
material, location, or material/location characteristic.
Accepted values¶

A measurable numeric attribute | shelf life, weight, or volume |
CATEGORICAL |
A governed text label | family, channel, region, or segment |
Only the English values in Payload value are accepted by the current integration contract.
