SAP reference for configured planning views¶
This page complements configured planning views. SAP IBP Planning Views, templates, and Excel add-in favorites are the closest concepts; there is no equivalent S/4HANA table.
| OpsFactor | Nearby SAP IBP concept | Difference |
|---|---|---|
userId, viewName |
favorite/template owner and name | Templates can be global; favorites, personal |
viewType |
planning area, workspace, and view purpose | Requires a cross-reference |
| key figures | key figures displayed in the planning view | IDs and edit rules differ |
| unit, history, and filters | planning-view settings | Not every setting transfers across IBP surfaces |
| Enterprise workflow/characteristics | related process, filters, and attributes | Not one part of the SAP view |
Create a technical ID with user and normalized name, for example
PLANNER01-DEMAND-BASELINE. Do not use the name alone when users can create
same-named views.
Views are experience and collaboration configuration, not ERP master data. A migration should preserve intent, key figures, and filters; do not copy Excel formulas or formatting as though they were the OpsFactor contract.
Nearby SAP transactions or apps¶
There is no equivalent S/4HANA transaction. Use the SAP IBP add-in for Microsoft Excel and the Planner Workspaces app to locate templates, favorites, and planning views used for reconciliation.
