SAP reference for global planning parameters¶
This page complements global parameters.
There is no single equivalent SAP record. Nearby settings are distributed
across Customizing (SPRO), plant, MRP group, material, and planning products.

The OpsFactor record is an explicit fallback layer. An integration must produce consolidated, traceable values; it must not mirror thousands of Customizing rows or assume SAP's most specific setting is global.
Use a predictable configuration ID such as GLOBAL when the contract expects
one record. Keep source system, client, and extraction date as integration
metadata, not concatenated into the functional ID unless one OpsFactor
environment contains multiple domains.
Nearby SAP transactions or apps¶
There is no single transaction. SPRO is the Customizing entry point;
MM02 and MM03 help reconcile material/plant-specific settings. SAP IBP or
PP/DS apps depend on the installed solution.
