SAP reference for COGS¶
This page complements COGS. There is no single SAP column that is universally the planning COGS.

Map MATNR to materialId, valuation area/plant to locationId, base unit to
unitOfMeasureId, and the selected value to unitCogs.
What to put in the ID¶
The list ID should state source and period, for example
ML-ACTUAL-2026-05-BWKEY1000. OpsFactor uses prioritized, effective-dated
lists; SAP can hold current values, monthly history, or parallel estimates.
Choose standard, moving, actual, or estimated cost before extraction and do not
mix these meanings in one list.
