Identity and transformation

An ID such as SAP-MATERIAL-COLOR is safer than COLOR alone when the same name can exist in multiple class types. Preserve the separate OpsFactor material, location, and material/location catalogs.

SAP Classification is generic and object-oriented. There is no automatic equivalent for a material/location characteristic; it may require a specific class, custom master data, or a derivation combining material and plant data.
